Processing of personal data
Access to certain sections of the site and/or any requests for information or services by users of the site may be subject to the provision of personal data, the processing of which by ECOTECH ITALIA S.r.L., as Data Controller, will take place in compliance with Legislative Decree 96/2003 "Code regarding the protection of personal data" (hereinafter the "Code"). This information notice is intended to allow users to understand, even before accessing the various sections of the site and providing their data, how ECOTECH ITALIA S.r.L. processes users' personal data, and it will in any case be necessary for the user to read it before providing their personal data by filling in the appropriate fields in the various sections of the site.
Purpose of processing
According to the needs expressed from time to time by the user accessing the various sections of the site, the purposes of processing the personal data provided directly by users through the completion of online forms may be as follows:
a) allow registration on the site, which is necessary to access particular sections of the site itself and to provide and manage the various services offered;
b) with the user's prior consent and until such consent is revoked, carry out marketing activities (such as, by way of example but not limited to, sending promotional and advertising material, conducting related analyses on registered users, which allow ECOTECH ITALIA S.r.L. to improve the services and products offered to its customers); and this also by means of e-mail, fax, mms and sms, with specific consent and until such consent is revoked;
c) send newsletters to receive updates on all the news of the site and many other pieces of information;
d) respond to user requests regarding products, advertising, or the website.
Processing methods
Personal data will be processed mainly in an automated form, with logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes.
Nature of providing users' personal data
The provision of personal data is optional, but it is partly necessary for ECOTECH ITALIA S.r.L. to meet the user's needs within the site's functionalities. Failure to provide, partial, or inaccurate provision of personal data, as necessary for the execution of the requested service, makes such execution impossible.
Categories of personal data subject to processing
In addition to the personal data provided directly by users (such as name, surname, postal address, email address, etc.), when connecting to the site, the computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of the site itself indirectly acquire certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (such as, by way of example but not limited to, so-called "cookies", "IP" addresses, domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, "URL" addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request to the server). This data is deleted immediately after processing.
Categories of subjects who may become aware of users' personal data
Personal data may be disclosed to employees or collaborators of the Marketing offices who, operating under the direct authority of the latter, are appointed as data processors or persons in charge of processing pursuant to Articles 29 and 30 of the Code and who will receive appropriate operational instructions in this regard; the same will occur – under the responsibility of the Data Processors appointed by the Data Controller – with regard to the employees or collaborators of the Processors.
Scope of communication or dissemination of users' personal data
Personal data will not be communicated to third parties or disclosed, except in the case of publishing the names of winners of any competitions or prize operations promoted by ECOTECH ITALIA S.r.L. through the website.

The rights of users recognized by art. 7 of the Code
"Article 7" Right of access to personal data and other rights
1. The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her exists, even if not yet recorded, and to receive such data in an intelligible form.
2. The data subject has the right to obtain the indication:
a) of the origin of the personal data;
b) the purposes and methods of processing;
c) of the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic tools;
d) the identification details of the data controller, the data processors, and the representative designated within the territory of the Italian State, where applicable;
e) of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it as designated representatives in the territory of the Italian State, as data controllers or processors.
3. The data subject has the right to obtain:
a) the updating, rectification or, when interested, the integration of the data;
b) the erasure, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those whose retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
c) certification that the operations referred to in the previous letters a) and b) have been brought to the attention, also with regard to their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disclosed, except in cases where this proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the right protected.
4. The data subject has the right to object in whole or in part:
a) for legitimate reasons regarding the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even if relevant to the purpose of the collection;
b) to the processing of personal data concerning him or her for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct sales or for carrying out market research or commercial communication." The exercise of the above rights may be exercised directly or by granting, in writing, a delegation or power of attorney to individuals or associations."
How to exercise the rights referred to in Art. 7 and to know the list of Data Processors
The user may, at any time, exercise the rights referred to in Art. 7 of the Code as well as obtain the complete list of Data Processors by sending an email to the Data Controller at info@ecotechitalia.com, or by sending a letter via regular mail to: ECOTECH ITALIA S.r.L.- Via Dovizi 18 - 47122 Forlì (FC), Italy, or by calling 0543 774314.
